NONÔ’S ORGANIC GARDEN
Ponta dos Ganchos organic garden was first planted towards the end of 2008, aimed at not only meeting the hotel demand for ingredients, but also, and primarily, serving as the foundation for sustainable approach to gastronomy. The garden enables the Resort to manage the great majority of its organic waste as part of an efficient cycle of reutilization and conscious consumption. The garden is seasonal, and it provides us with different products at different times of the year. Some examples are all types of lettuce, rocket, watercress, spinach, collard greens, edible sprouts, edible flowers (seasonal), lemon grass, and ginger.
