Environment
It is part of Ponta dos Ganchos’ essence to take care of the environment. As an example of the practices adopted, the garbage is 100% recycled and the treated water from the sewage station is used for the hotel’s gardening. Rainwater is used for washing vehicles, cleaning the property’s streets and in the laundry room.

Organic Garden
Organic waste goes through a composting process and is then used as fertilizer in the garden.

Bungalows
Offering a smart and sustainable design, the bungalows have cross ventilation, solar panel, green roof and usage of reforestation wood. Ponta dos Ganchos is also leading a campaign to reforest the hotel area, where more than ten thousand of native seedlings trees have already been planted.

Social
Ponta dos Ganchos has a team of around 100 employees, 71% of whom are local residents who live in the fishing community itself. And 38% of them are the children of fishermen from the same region. In addition, the hotel employs different family groups, which represent around 18% of the total staff.
